Highlights of our visit - June 2011

When we arrived we were amazed at how the garden had grown - it looked more like a jungle!
Our first job was to do a lot of cutting down and thinning out.

When we opened the sun umbrella we discovered a wasps nest inside!
This gave me the opportunity to study these amazing creatures while relaxing in the shade.
See the following post for everything you don't really want to know about wasps.

Vanessa & Paul have recently moved into their beautiful new house and had a "cake party"!
It was delicious, decadent and we all must have gained a few kilos!

The following week Maurizio & Sabrina had a magnificent congregation barbecue after the meeting.

Guadalupe with her boys.

Javes sporting his Ironman T-shirt.

An interesting creature we rescued from the pool.

This beautiful and very delicate flower on rather an ugly cactus only lasts for one day.

Pablo celebrated his first anniversary at Tamaragua with a free sardine barbecue that was enjoyed by everybody.

Just to prove that we did more than just eat and actually did get out and about! - a visit to La Oliva.
