Highlights from our last visit.

Flamenco at La Campanaria
Sunday lunch at Avenida with some of the local congregation.
One of the highlights of this visit was a trip to Lanzarote on the Princesa Ico.
We found a nice Spanish bar where we had an excellent 3 course meal, including a bottle of wine and coffee for approx. £5 each.
We sat on the beach for a while ...
...and then had to find another bar to get some shade - and finish reading the paper!
Another highlight was our visit to the large annual craft fare at Antigua, where the best artisans from all the Canary Islands were exhibiting.
It seemed that every child from every school on the Island was there.

I have never seen so many children, both large and small - and all so very well behaved
This stall sold caterpults (among other things) - and was a magnet for all the young boys!
The craft work on display was amazing. This amazing pottery was my favourite, although we actually bought a goat's cheese from Fuerteventura, a unique pendant from Lanzarote, and a piece of lace and a slab of sweet potato jelly (to eat with the goat's cheese) from La Palma.
On the way back we drove past our favourite windmill en route to Los Molinos...
...where the owner of our favourite bar was taking a nap!
A cold beer on a hot day overlooking the ocean was very refreshing!
As was a dip in the pool! Towards the end of our visit the weather did get very hot so we were glad to be able to enjoy the lovely warm water.
The garden was looking a bit like a jungle - until I did a bit of drastic pruning.
This cactus blossomed for just one day. So glad we didn't miss it!
This one had a garland of pink flowers, like a crown, around the top.
The geraniums were also doing well.,,
...and David was kept busy!

Hey and thanks för a nice blog post :-)
My wife and i will be visiting Corralejo next month and we are looking forward to seeing our friends in the English congregation once again.
I was planing on perhaps giving a talk if they want me too, but I don't know who to contact. Last time we visited in 2013 the congregation was situated in Corralejo but they seem to have relocated to Puerto Del Rosario since then, judging from the info on jw.org.
Do you have an email address to the secretary or someone else I can talk to about this?
Thanks in advance!
